i baptized someone for the first time in june in mexico.
.
i had a deep desire in me to be a mentor to someone and was encouraging my closest friends back home to get baptized. they were disinterested.
.
i felt dejected, jaded... rejected in a way. but it’s funny how God uses us where we’re at and aligns our desires with His... but even more — He GIVES us these desires! & He yearns to fulfill even ones that we come up with on our own accord.
.
YET i met a perfect stranger doing ministry in mexico and IT HAPPENED.
.
i’m learning to trust God more in the process... and not to rush it. we live in a world where culture tells us we need instant gratification. .
no, there is power and beauty in the waiting. in the pressing.
.
don’t be discouraged. God is moving in all relationships and He is working in people’s hearts. it may not be the right time or the right words, but it’s the right Spirit to be in.
