i’m not sure if it’s the majesty of it that leaves me in wonder, the eminent danger, or the soothing sound that grip me.

.
we all find ourselves in situations time + again where we feel small. teeny tiny, really.
.
in that moment, we have a decision to make. do we yield to the giant + shelter ourselves to stay safe? do we sheepishly inch away in the hopes of yielding to something bigger than us?
.
.
or do we decide to dip our feet into the water & ‘test the waters’, so to speak?
.
i question every time i feel small or want to hide now. i’m REALLY good at hiding, too. when i was a kid, i’d hide in the laundry hamper + no one would find me because no one dreamed someone could make themselves small enough to fit in there.

what, or who, makes you feel small? is it out of wonder, or fear?
