i was praying for my future husband last week, and i asked God what i had to do to find him. He simply said “first realize that He’s mine before yours.”

ladies, let us not get so focused on attaining that we don’t honor the personal faith journey & relationship to God our future spouses, or current spouses, have.

i know for me, it’s hard to be patient + trusting, but God has done the hard work of searching for me. all i need to do is be praying for Him. & the next thing i know — in the most unexpected moment — He’ll be standing next to me praying with me.
