You say “angry”, I say assertive.
You say “too much”, I say passionate.
You say “hard to please”, I say standards.
You say “stingy”, I say careful.
You say “cocky”, I say confident.
You say “argumentative”, I say “opinionated”.
The older I get, the more I realize that greatness comes from fear — so do not fear fear itself.
The fear of being ourselves in a world that tells us who to be and what to do. The fear of failure, being made fun of, being rejected, not being “good enough” - what does that even mean, if we are all made perfect in the image and likeness of God?
Marianne Williamson said it best:
“There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. “💡
Know your worth, shine brightly, & never dull your shine...
or settle
for less than you deserve. 💪🏻
Happy Wednesday.
